Do you work on car air conditioning systems?

Yes. We carry out air conditioning diagnostics, repairs, regassing, and component replacements to keep your vehicle cooling efficiently and reliably.

 

What is included in a car air conditioning service?

Our car air conditioning service is a full diagnostic and maintenance process carried out by professional, qualified technicians. It ensures your system operates efficiently, safely, and in compliance with Australian standards.

A typical service includes:

  • Testing the operation of the system

  • Inspecting gas pressures

  • Checking all visible components for leaks

  • Recovering remaining refrigerant gas

  • Pressure testing the system using nitrogen gas

  • Evacuating the system

  • Re-gassing the system with UV dye and oil as required

  • Testing the system again to confirm proper operation

Why is leak detection important?

Automotive air conditioning systems are sealed systems. If your system is low on gas, there may be a leak. Re-gassing a system without fixing leaks is not allowed under Australian Codes of Practice and can reduce system performance, increase running costs, and harm the environment.

Do you follow Australian regulations?

Yes. All work is carried out according to Australian Codes of Practice for Refrigerant Handling. We also follow national environmental laws to reduce gas leaks and ensure your system is efficient and environmentally responsible.

Will my air conditioning be fully functional after the service?

Yes. Our goal is to leave your vehicle safe and comfortable, with your air conditioning system performing at a high standard. We test and confirm operation before returning your vehicle.

 

Do you have a cancellation policy?

Yes. We charge a late cancellation fee because short-notice cancellations leave gaps that are difficult to fill and impact our ability to serve other customers.

Cancellations made 24 hours or less before an appointment will incur a $50 rebooking fee.
Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance via email to info@auraautoelectrical.com.au or phone (07) 5491 3191 will be processed without penalty.

Do you work on all vehicle types?

Yes. We work on cars, 4WDs, work utes, fleet vehicles, trailers, and light commercial vehicles. We also service government, private, and commercial fleets across a wide range of industries.

Do you offer fleet services?

Absolutely. We provide full fleet auto electrical and air conditioning services, including diagnostics, maintenance, compliance work, fit-outs, and upgrades. We understand downtime impacts productivity and aim for efficient turnaround times.

Do you provide quotes before starting work?

Yes. Wherever possible, we provide clear pricing before work begins. If additional issues are found during diagnostics, we’ll contact you and explain the options before proceeding.

Yes. We only use parts from reputable brands and suppliers. This ensures reliability, performance, and longevity — and allows us to stand behind our work with confidence.

Can you diagnose electrical faults and warning lights?

Yes. We specialise in in-depth diagnostics for electrical faults, warning lights, air conditioning issues, and complex vehicle systems. Accurate diagnosis saves time, money, and repeat repairs.

How long will my repair take?

Repair times vary depending on the job. Many electrical and air conditioning repairs can be completed the same day. For larger or more complex work, we’ll give you an estimated timeframe upfront.
